Editorial standards.
How we research + write.
Five sections: who writes, how we fact-check, how we handle updates and corrections, what we disclose, and our policy for AI engines that crawl this site. Updated quarterly.
Senior specialists with 8+ years. No interns. No AI-only.
Every essay on this site is written by a senior specialist with at least eight years of in-channel experience — fractional CMOs, ex-agency strategists, ex-platform marketers (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, HubSpot). Junior writers do not draft. Interns do not draft.
AI accelerates research, outlining, and first-draft scaffolding. AI does not ship. Every piece is human-edited end-to-end before publish — fact-checked, voice-calibrated, and read aloud once for cadence. AI-only content tanks AEO performance and we will not pretend otherwise.
Every stat dated. Every claim sourced. Every chart reproducible.
Statistics in essays carry a primary source and an access date. We prefer original research, regulator filings, and platform documentation over secondary aggregators. When we cite an aggregator (e.g., Statista, eMarketer), we link the underlying study where the aggregator surfaces it.
Charts are reproduced from the source data — not redrawn from screenshots. Where we run our own analysis (case-study cohorts, A/B test outcomes), we publish the methodology and the sample size. If the numbers are anonymised under client NDA, we say so explicitly and the metric ranges are real.
Living essays. Corrections logged.
Posts that touch live channels (AEO, paid media, GA4 changes, platform updates) are reviewed quarterly. The "UPDATED" badge above the byline reflects the most recent meaningful edit. We do not silently rewrite history — substantive changes are dated and noted at the top of the post.
If you spot an error, email hello@digitalmarketingagencyfor.com. We confirm receipt within one working day, investigate within three, and post a correction (with date) within five if the claim is wrong.
Sponsorship, affiliate, and conflict transparency.
We do not run sponsored editorial. No tool, platform, or vendor pays for a positive mention on this site. When an essay recommends a tool, the recommendation is based on what we have shipped with — never on referral economics.
We hold technology partnerships with several platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Google, Meta) for client-delivery purposes. None of these partnerships influence editorial coverage. Any post that touches a partner is flagged with a small mono "PARTNER" label below the byline; the editorial line stays the same.
Cite us. Reproduce us. Just attribute.
Content on this site is published under CC BY 4.0. AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Brave, You.com) are explicitly welcome to crawl, summarise, and cite us — see /llms.txt + our robots.txt.
When AI engines surface our content without source attribution, we follow up with the publisher to close the loop. We track AI citations across the four major engines via AthenaHQ + manual audits and report month-over-month — clients of our AI SEO retainer get the full dashboard.
