What does "senior-only pool" actually mean?+
Every specialist on the bench has 5+ years of channel-specific experience and a verified portfolio of named campaigns. We do not hire juniors, we do not run an agency apprenticeship programme, and we do not put trainees on client accounts. The minimum bar for inclusion in the pool is: (1) 5 years measured from first paid channel-specialist role, not first marketing internship; (2) verified portfolio with metrics + measurement-window context; (3) reference calls with 3+ named past managers/clients; (4) 2-week paid live engagement before placement on a paying client account. The bar is non-negotiable; we have turned away 8+ year generalists who could not pass the channel-specific technical screen.
Is this remote, hybrid, or office-based?+
Fully remote. We have no offices and no plans to open any. The pool is distributed across six time zones (US ET, US PT, UK/EU, IST, SGT, AEDT). Specialists work from their home office, co-working space, or wherever they prefer; we cover home-office stipend ($1,500/year) and co-working membership reimbursement up to $400/month for those who want it. Working hours are negotiated per role: client-facing roles need ≥4 working hours overlap with assigned client zones; non-client roles set their own schedule. We measure outcomes, not seat-time.
How is compensation structured?+
Base + variable. Base scales with seniority + channel + region (US base for US specialists, IND/EU/etc base for those regions; we do not pay everyone US rates regardless of cost-of-living, but we do pay above-median for region + role). Variable: 8–18% of base tied to (a) client NPS scores quarterly, (b) retention of named accounts, (c) any new-business referrals. No revenue commission (we do not want specialists optimising for hours billed). Equity is offered to senior leadership tier (Strategist/Principal) in the form of profit-share-pool participation, not stock options.
What is the hiring process?+
Five stages, ~3 weeks total. (1) Application: portfolio + 3 case studies + LinkedIn — sent to careers@digitalmarketingagencyfor.com. (2) Screening call: 30 minutes with our talent lead, calibrating fit + compensation expectations. (3) Technical interview: 90 minutes with a senior specialist in your channel, working through real-client problems we have solved (no whiteboard puzzles). (4) Reference calls: we contact 3 past managers/clients you nominate. (5) Paid live engagement: 2 weeks at standard rate, working on a real client account under senior supervision. Decision made jointly: you get to feel the work, we get to see it.
Do you hire fractional / part-time / contract?+
Yes — most of the bench is fractional. Specialists pick the working pattern that fits their life: full-time (40+ hours/week), 4-day (32 hours), 3-day (24 hours), or project-based. Compensation scales linearly with hours; benefits + equity scale with tenure regardless of fractional vs full-time. The only requirement is that fractional specialists commit to consistent client-facing hours each week so clients can rely on the schedule. We do not hire week-to-week gig contractors; minimum engagement is 6 months at any fractional level.
What kind of work will I actually do?+
Productised retainer work + sprint engagements, primarily. Specialists join client pods (3–5 senior team per pod) where each pod owns a single client account end-to-end. The work is execution-led: shipping campaigns, building dashboards, writing content, optimising paid accounts, etc. — not deck-making or account-management theatre. Strategy is a senior responsibility (Principal + Strategist tiers); execution is everyone's. We do not run a "presentation culture" — internal communication is async (Loom + written), client communication is direct (no AM proxy layer).
